Reforestation Nursery

Initiated in late 2005 this project will provide a baseline nursery program in the region. Its initial focus is to plant 5,000 seedlings in a designated area near the village of Borgne. The nursery will be run by local peasant leaders. it will be used as a training project for other community and peasant leaders who want to adopt this reforestation program.
Resources Required:
- funding of $5,000 for seedlings and fencing
- annual operating expenses of $1,000 for nursery staff and trainers
